This dataset, provided by DEP, shows the extent of all 5 Water Management Districts in Florida. It uses the old DEP Florida County Shoreline as an edge. Water management districts in the State of Florida work in collaboration with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection under the Florida Water Resources Act (Chapter 373, Florida Statutes). The water management districts and FDEP work together to resolve statewide water planning and management issues pertaining to water supply, flood protection, floodplain management, water quality, and protection of natural systems.</span></p></div></div></div>
